How to Make Your Story Memorable
We’ve all seen an ad or commercial that has made us laugh, touched our hearts, or connected with us. Prime examples often come from the Super Bowl! The creativity they pour into those to help tell their story, make it a memorable experience for viewers to talk about with their coworkers the next day, or students to analyze years later.
We may not have the same budget as those productions, but here are 3 ways to make your story memorable:
1. Quality Matters
Level up your brand by creating visually stunning content through high-quality videos. We all have cameras on our phones, but putting the investment in high-quality video will help speak to the quality of your product or service while impressing your audience. According to Hubspot, 92% of video marketers reported that video gives them a positive ROI. Sounds like it’s worth the investment! 😉
2. Tap into Their Emotions
Have you ever watched a video, whether it was serious, funny, or heartwarming, and thought about it throughout your day? You may not remember exactly what the commercial was for, but you remember how it made you feel. Create a lasting impact on your audience by tapping into their emotions! ❤️
3. Start and Finish Strong
Let’s be real…I think almost all of us know our attention span isn’t what it used to be. Apparently, it’s the same as a goldfish (about 8 seconds)! Why does that matter? That means you only have 8 seconds to get their attention. Give your introduction intrigue; maybe pose a question, state a crazy fact, or use quick cuts. But don’t let it drag out–keep it short, sweet, and to the point. To close, leave them with a compelling thought or direct call to action. 👍
