Essential Celebration

Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) do it all, and they deserve to be celebrated. From saving lives and healing the sick to strengthening communities, APPs dedicate countless hours to caring for others, often without the recognition they deserve. Physician Assistants (PA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Nurse Midwives (NMW), Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), and many more go above and beyond every day to serve their patients.

To honor this essential group, Corewell Health created the APPSYS Awards, an annual celebration that recognizes the extraordinary, life-changing work of APPs. In partnership with Corewell Health, we worked to elevate the APPSYS program and give it the prestigious look and feel it deserved.

Our challenge was to design an engaging event brand that reflected the spirit of the APP community, while also ensuring a seamless and inspiring award ceremony experience.

Our Strategy

Our goal was clear: create an event theme that truly represented the dedication of APPs, showcase their stories through powerful video production, and deliver a polished and memorable celebration.

To make it happen, our creative team developed:

Comprehensive event branding and visual assets
Nominee and winner cards
An interactive Dream Board for team brainstorming and inspiration
High-level video storytelling to highlight APP impact
Day-of-event management and a fully coordinated run of show
Award show assets designed in Propresenter
Curated event music and audio experience
Directional and wayfinding signage

Once the creative elements were complete, we collaborated closely with Corewell Health to secure approvals, coordinate with the venue, and execute the show flawlessly on event day.

When designing the Corewell Health event, maintaining alignment with the primary brand identity was essential. The challenge: how to make the experience feel distinct from the everyday materials surrounding our APPs. We turned to Corewell’s secondary color palette, discovering vibrant hues that, paired with a deep navy, created the dynamic ambiance we envisioned.
